Whittaker Contracting is seeking experiencedDiesel Fittersto join our team infull-time positionssupporting ourOrange Based Workshopand at our localCadia Mine.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of heavy mining and earthmoving equipment
Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on work completed
Provide a high level of service to our mining and construction clients
Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
About You
Trade qualified Diesel Fitter or Automotive Mechanic
Strong mechanical and technical skills with a proactive problem-solving approach
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Robust commitment to workplace health and safety
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to various mine sites
