About The Role This position is part time (22.5 hours per week), fixed term until May ****, with the possibility of extension and is located in Wollongong.
The Mental Health Clinician will undertake individual assessments, and provide evidence based psychological interventions for consumers with mental health needs and their families and carers.
You will work under a person centred, recovery philosophy collaborating with other GPH programs and key stakeholders to provide high quality outcomes for consumers and their families and carers.

Skills & Experience
Current full AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist, registered psychologist, or occupational therapist (accredited with OTA as meeting the Australian Competency Standards for occupational therapists in mental health),



or accreditation with the AASW as a mental health social worker and current registration with Medicare Australia to provide services under the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS)Demonstrated mental health clinical experience in delivering mental health services with proven skills and experience in providing a range of holistic, recovery-oriented, evidence-based therapeutic services.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and consultation skills across arrange of contextsUnderstanding of legal requirements relevant to mental health consumers and families and carers.
