About the role
Safety Direct Solutions is seeking experiencedSite Access Controller (SAC)to join our expanding Western Operations Team.
Reporting direct to our Western Operations Coordinator, the role will be aCasualposition based inHenderson, WA.
As aSite Access Controller (SAC) your role will be crucial in managing the site access to construction areas on Marine & Defence vessels.
General responsibilities are checking contractor access cards to make sure inductions are up to date, also to ensure the contractor signs in and out of our online platform prior to entering site.
General other relevant site access duties may be required.
About Applying
We are looking for candidates to manage site access to construction areas on Marine & Defence vessels.
Role Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Attend all rostered shifts punctually while maintaining a professional standard of reliability.
Be available to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and overtime where required.
Accurately complete the Occurrence Logbook, recording all high-risk work activities and significant events throughout each shift.
Verify induction passes and site access requirements for all personnel entering the worksite.




Ensure all personnel are signed in and out of the site's electronic access management system.
Monitor vessel Fire and Gas Alarm Systems and respond in accordance with site procedures.
Assist the Emergency Response Team by ensuring all personnel are accounted for during emergency evacuations and musters.
Conduct routine perimeter, security, and site access inspections.
Lock and unlock site gates and controlled access points in accordance with operational requirements.
Promptly report all incidents, alarms, hazards, security concerns, and
HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Hold a current Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Demonstrated industry experience and a strong work ethic
Eligible to obtain a National Police Clearance
Excellent attention to detail
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
