Join Baw Baw Shire Council as an Environment Assessment Officer and play a key role in protecting and enhancing our region's unique natural assets.
In this diverse role, you'll assess planning referrals, provide environmental and biodiversity advice, support Council projects,



and help ensure development outcomes balance growth with environmental protection.
From field assessments to stakeholder engagement, you'll make a real impact on the health and resilience of our landscapes.
About the Successful Candidate
We're looking for someone with:
Qualifications in environmental science, ecology, natural resource management, or a related field.
Experience in environmental assessments, biodiversity advice, or statutory planning.
Strong communication skills and a passion for protecting native vegetation, flora, and fauna.
