Terra Firma Dining is a Sunshine Coast based catering company known for delivering exceptional food and Open Fire dining experiences at events across QLD and NSW .
We're a small, close-knit team that takes pride in quality, presentation, and genuine hospitality and we're looking for a Sous Chef to help us keep raising the bar.
About the Role
Working closely with our Founder, you'll help run the day-to-day operations of the catering business and lead the kitchen for events across the state and interstates .
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is happy to travel for events, including every weekend work.
What the Role Involves
4–5 days per week, including travel to event sites on weekends, you must be available every weekend
Assisting the Founder and Talent team to run the daily operations of the catering business.
Prep, road mapping, ordering,



cooking and managing the chef roaster.
Leading and managing kitchen and event staff
Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
Building and maintaining good relationships with clients and guests through strong presentation and customer service
Driving to and from event locations, including towing a trailer with the company car.
About You
Skilled and highly organised chef with a strong attention to detail, must comfortable to work remotely.
Proven team management and leadership skills
Problem solver
Excellent presentation and customer relationship skills
Current driver's licence, with experience towing a trailer
Positive team spirit and a willingness to share knowledge and mentor co-workers
Flexible and available to work weekends and travel for events
