About The Role
We are seeking an Apprentice Sheet Metal Fabricator for our manufacturing site at Wetherill Park, NSW.
The qualification on completion would be a Certificate III Engineering Light Fabrication.
The successful applicant will be punctual and reliable, be willing to learn and apply new techniques, learn new systems, and above all, be a team player.
About The Candidate
To be considered for the apprenticeship you need no experience but must have the following attributes:
2nd or 3rd year apprenticeship.Good communication,
and interpersonal skillsWillingness to learn and take instructions from qualified tradesmenTrade level mathematics skills (year 10 minimum)Genuine interest in beginning a career in metal fabricationProcess of completing or completed prevocational course in metal fabrication (encouraged to apply)Metalwork (or similar) subject completion (year 10 minimum)Demonstrated IT literacySomeone who takes pride in their workMotivated and eager to learnReliable, honest, and trustworthyIt would be beneficial to have a car licence but not essential
