At Hindmarsh, Senior Contracts Administrators play a key leadership role within the project team, driving commercial outcomes, managing risk and supporting successful project delivery from procurement through to completion.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
Leading procurement activities including tendering, subcontractor engagement and trade package management
Managing head contract and subcontract administration throughout project delivery
Monitoring project financial performance, forecasting, cashflow and cost reporting
Assessing, pricing and administering variations and claims
Preparing progress claims and supporting extension of time processes
Managing commercial risk and ensuring contractual compliance
Providing commercial guidance to project teams and stakeholders
Mentoring Contract Administrators, Cadets and emerging commercial professionals
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors
Supporting project reporting and contributing to commercial project outcomes
We are looking for team members who have:
5+ years' commercial construction experience, ideally within a head contractor environment
Experience managing procurement, contract administration and project financials
Strong understanding of contract law principles and construction-related legislation
Experience managing variations,
claims and subcontractor relationships
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Experience using CHEOPS, Aconex and similar construction software
