Jackson Motor Company is Tasmania's leading automotive business.
We have a large and diverse workforce and are looking for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our Launceston team.
About the role.Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure proficient recruitment, onboarding and ongoing support for our expanding JMC team.
This role will be a hands-on Recruitment role, with a dual focus on the screening / onboarding and the administrative aspects of recruitment, with a particular focus on payroll and other similar administrative functions relating to the day-to-day management of a large and diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:Manage the recruitment process for Northern Tasmanian.Provide support and assist managers with company recruitment policies and procedures.The day-to-day management of the Payroll processTransactional people / HR AdministrationUnderstanding and complying with the current regulations applicable to operational processes and procedures.

You can demonstrate that you have:capability in and knowledge of generalist HR and recruitment functionshigh attention to detail to ensure accuracy with all HR-related processesexcellent written and oral communication skillsa strong and confident personaa skilled phone mannerstrong Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook skillsinitiative and organisational skillsthe ability to work under pressure and manage competing prioritiesa current valid Driver's Licence.
A tertiary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related discipline, or similar hands-on experience, will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
