A newly created opportunity for aLawyer or Associate (2–5 PAE)to join a leading national firm's growingInsurance practicein Adelaide.You'll be part of a highly regarded practice acting for major insurers and government clients, working on a diverse mix of CTP, workers compensation and public liability matters.
This role offers the opportunity to run your own files with support, while gaining exposure to complex and high-value litigation.
The Role
You will work across a broad range ofdefendant insurance matters, that will see you:
Managing files from commencement through to resolution
Drafting court documents, correspondence and advices
Preparing briefs for counsel and expert instructions
Conducting legal research and preparing chronologies
Liaising with clients, witnesses and third parties
Attending court and assisting with hearings
You'll be supported by a collaborative team while developing both your technical and client-facing skills.About You
2–5 years PAE indefendant insurance litigation
Exposure toCTP, workers compensation, public liability or similar
Well developed drafting skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage files with appropriate supervision
