ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for an experiencedLabourerto join our team to support theMitchell Freeway Concrete Barriers Upgrade.This will include the removal of existing barriers and replacement with new concrete barriers on the Mitchell Freeway between Ocean Reef Road and Hester Avenue.
Work scope includes associated pavement works, services protection, and required significant rail safety management.
As aLabourer,you will be reporting tothe Civil Supervisor,and you will be responsible forgeneral site labouring duties, assisting with construction activities, and maintaining a safe and efficient work setting.
Other key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assisting with general civil construction and roadworks
Loading, unloading, and transporting materials, tools, and equipment
Preparing and maintaining work sites, including site clean-up and housekeeping
Performing manual handling tasks using hand and power tools
Following site safety procedures, and participating in daily pre-start meetings
Carry out other labouring duties as directed by supervisors
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
White Card
Valid Australian driver's license
MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
