AsInventory Analyst,you will be responsible for optimising inventory levels to ensure the right products are available at the right time.
Through the analysis of stock performance, demand trends, and inventory movements, you will provide data-driven insights that support effective planning, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes.
You will maintain inventory accuracy, identify opportunities to reduce costs and excess stock, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Analysing inventory levels and demand trends to optimise stock availability while minimising excess and obsolete inventory.
Maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of inventory management systems, processes, and reporting.
Developing and implementing inventory control measures to improve stock accuracy, reduce costs, and support working capital objectives.
Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to support efficient inventory planning, procurement, warehousing, and operational activities.
Monitoring inventory performance, investigating discrepancies, and leading stocktake activities to ensure accurate stock records.




Identifying opportunities to improve inventory management practices, freight costs, stock movements, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Providing regular insights and reporting to management, including recommendations to enhance inventory performance and business outcomes.
Supporting the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, quality management requirements, and inventory-related systems enhancements.
Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Building strong working relationships across teams and actively contributing to a collaborative, high-performing culture.
Success in this role will be measured through high levels of inventory accuracy, reduced obsolete stock holdings, timely and accurate reporting, effective cost management, and a commitment to continuous improvement and safety excellence.
What you will need to succeed
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or Commerce or demonstrated experience in inventory management, supply chain or materials planning.
Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory control, stock control or a similar role
Strong inventory analysis, forecasting and demand planning skills along with knowledge of inventory management principles
Ability to develop reports and dashboards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams (Sales, Finance) and across timezones.
Experience using ERP and inventory management systems (preferably D365).




Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & SharePoint).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail and data accuracy.
Proactive and results driven with a curious mindset.
Full working rights in Australia is essential in order to be considered for this position.
The successful candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance.
