We are looking for a committed and dependablePie Production Assistantto join our Alstonville warehouse team and help us continue producing our signature range of pies from scratch.
About the Role
This is a hands-on production role focused on making high-quality pies in a fast-paced bakery environment.
You will be involved in the full pie-making process—from preparing pastry and fillings through to baking and finishing products to a consistent standard.
No formal qualifications are required; however, some experience in food preparation and/or baking is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare pastry, crusts, and pie fillings following established recipes and standards
Roll, assemble, and shape pies with consistency and attention to detail
Bake pies, monitoring oven settings and bake quality
Apply finishing touches, including glazing, decorating, and presentation
Maintain a clean, protected, and organised work area in line with food safety standards
Follow hygiene and food handling procedures at all times
Assist with stock control and communicate ingredient needs




Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets
About You
Some experience in food handling, baking, or a production kitchen environment preferred (no formal qualifications required)
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working early mornings
Able to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistent quality
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling repetitive tasks
Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
What We Offer
Full-time role:Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm
Salary:$65,********,600 per annum depending on experience
