About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamicRetail Store Managerto lead our Nerang QLD store.
This is afull-time positionbased at our Nerang location (QLD ****), where you will take responsibility for all aspects of store operations, team leadership, and customer experience.
As Store Manager, you will be the driving force behind the store's success, overseeing sales performance, staff development, and the day-to-day management of our retail environment.
This is a strategic role that directly impacts our business growth and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
Managing all store operations including stock management, merchandising, visual displays and store cleanliness to create an inviting shopping environment
Overseeing daily cash handling, point-of-sale operations and financial administration to ensure accuracy and compliance
Driving sales performance through effective sales strategies, customer engagement and conversion techniques specific to the mattress retail industry
Recruiting, training and coaching staff to ensure they are knowledgeable about products and skilled in customer service delivery
Managing inventory levels, stock ordering and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals
Monitoring and analysing store performance metrics,



sales data and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement
Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and retail best practices
Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally and effectively
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or similar leadership role within retail, ideally in furniture, bedding or home furnishings
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and managing store profitability
Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, motivate and manage retail teams effectively
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
Sound knowledge of point-of-sale systems, inventory management and retail operations
Strong leadership qualities including communication, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Knowledge of the mattress, sleep solutions or furniture retail sector (desirable but not essential)
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required
A passion for retail excellence and continuous improvement
