Location:Branxton, NSW
Employment Type:Part-time, fixed term (12hours per week - Tuesday & Wednesday) with the possibility of extending.

About Us
We are now recruiting for a support worker for the Service to assist with individual support to children and small groups.
Role Overview
As an ISS Worker, you will work collaboratively with educators, families, and external professionals to support the inclusion and development of children with additional needs in our childcare service.
You will play a key role in ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and empowered in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with additional needs.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised support plans (ISPs) in collaboration with families and educators.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all children.
Adapt activities and environments to meet the unique needs of children.
Communicate effectively with families, educators,



and allied health professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to progress assessments.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:Certificate III or higher in Early Childcare Education is preferred, but not essential.
Experience:Previous experience working with children with additional needs is highly desirable.
Knowledge:Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and best practices in inclusion.
Skills:Robust communication, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Attributes:Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
Current Working with Children Children Check.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
