As Psychological Wellbeing Service Manager at Acacia Prison, you'll oversee social workers and psychologists delivering critical mental health support, including crisis care and targeted interventions.
You'll also drive team performance, managing rostering, leave, and development to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wooroloo, WA.
As a PWS Manager, you'll make a positive impact by:
Providing strong leadership and startegic direction aligned with the broader prison planBringing extensive clinical experience with adults, including advanced expertise in assessing and managing suicide and self-harm risk Upholding and lead ethical practice in line with professional standards, policies and valuesBuilding effictive relationships across multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication skills and understanding of correctional practices and stakeholder needs

You will lead and ensure the effective delivery of psychological services at Acacia, aligned with organisational standards and clinical governance requirements.
You Could Be a Great Fit If You Have
Hold a valid registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, with a Masters in Clinical,
Counselling or Forensic Psychology desireable and/or Degree in Social Work AND eligibility for registration with the AASWExtensive experience in the delivery of clinical intervention services to adultsAdvanced knowledge of the assessment and management of suicide and self-harm riskThe highest level of ethical behaviourKnowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of legaslative provisions and modern correctional management practices and operations within a prison
