ORCHARD SUPERVISOR
Iron Creek Bay is currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Orchard Supervisor or Consultant to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of orchard operations, including planting, pruning, irrigation, pest control, and harvesting
Develop and implement strategic plans for orchard management, considering factors such as crop yield, quality, and profitability
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of orchard health, identifying and addressing any issues or potential risks
Collaborate with a team of agricultural professionals to optimize orchard productivity and efficiency
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in orchard management
Provide guidance and training to orchard staff, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement
Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for orchard operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in orchard management or consulting, preferably with a focus on fruit tree cultivation
In-depth knowledge of orchard management practices, including planting, pruning, irrigation, disease and pest control, and harvesting techniques
Robust understanding of soil science, nutrient management, and sustainable agricultural practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,



with the ability to diagnose and address orchard-related issues effectively
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders
Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
