Drecall Pty Ltd is a family-owned broadacre cropping enterprise based in the beautiful coastal town of Bremer Bay, Western Australia.
We're looking for a motivated and reliable General Farmhand to become a valued long-term member of our small, supportive team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same.
You'll be involved in all aspects of our cropping operation while working with modern, well-maintained machinery and equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating broadacre machinery including seeders, sprayers, headers and chaser bins.
Truck driving as required.
Machinery servicing, maintenance and workshop repairs.
GPS operation using Pro700 guidance systems.
Assisting with seeding, spraying, harvest and general farm operations.
Reporting machinery faults and helping maintain a safe, efficient workplace.
Supporting the team across all aspects of the farming operation.
Machinery You'll Be Working With
You'll have the opportunity to operate a up-to-date fleet including:
Quadtrac, Steiger and JCB tractors
CASE IH headers
Coolamon chaser bins
Nitro self-propelled sprayers
MACK and International Transtar trucks
Pro700 GPS guidance systems
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience operating broadacre cropping machinery.
Has experience using GPS guidance systems.
Holds a C-Class Manual driver's licence (essential).
Holds an MC licence or is willing to obtain one.
Has mechanical aptitude and enjoys maintaining machinery.
Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and takes pride in producing quality work.
Works well independently and as part of a small team.
Is safety focused and reliable.
Uses initiative and is motivated
