Project Coordinator – Building Industry
We are seeking a motivated and detail‐drivenProject Coordinatorto join our existing team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in the building and construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day‐to‐day project activities from procurement through to delivery
Review architectural drawings, plans, and schedules
Prepare and manage project documentation, RFIs, and variation claims
Liaise with builders, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Assist with manufacturing coordination, including verifying dimensions and ensuring accuracy of shop drawings
Track project progress, deadlines, and budgets
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with project requirements
Has the ability to run install works
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong computer literacy, including:
Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
Adobe Acrobat (mark‐ups, combining files, form editing)
Email and general office software
Aconex, Procore and HammerTech experience (highly regarded)
Previous experience in the building or construction industry is required (highly regarded)
Previous experience in manufacturing (highly regarded)
Background in doors, hardware, or fire‐rated door systems is highly desirable
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
Experience preparing and managing variations and cost adjustments
Strong attention to detail, especially with measurements and manufacturing requirements
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
