Job Description:
As a Metal Work Fabricator / Installer, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, welding and installation of sheet metal products across a variety of commercial and residential projects.
This role offers a combination of workshop-based manufacturing and on-site installation work, providing variety and opportunities to further develop your skills.
Schedule:
Full-Time Position |Monday to Friday | 7:20am – 3:30pm
Initial 3-month casual probation period with a genuine pathway to permanent full-time employment
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products from workshop drawings
Perform welding, cutting, grinding and finishing tasks
Operate fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
Complete on-site installations as required
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship




Follow workplace health and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with the production and management team
Assist in meeting production schedules and project deadlines
Skills & Requirements
Current White Card(Required)
Current Australian Driver's Licence(Essential)
Forklift License (Preferred)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Experience & Qualifications
MIG Welding: 2+ years(Required)
TIG Welding: 2+ years(Required)
Sheet Metal Fabrication: 2+ years (Preferred)
Previous experience as aMetal Work Fabricator, Welder, Sheet Metal Worker or Site-Installer
Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings
Experience working with stainless steel, galvanised steel, mild steel and aluminium
Experience operating fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
