Full time and Casual opportunities
East Geelong Campus location with possibility of offsite delivery travel
Whether you're joining us full time or casually, you'll play a key role in delivering high quality, industry relevant training that prepares students for real careers.
You'll be based primarily at our East Geelong campus, with travel to deliver training across sites including Wyndham, The Grange and other locations.
Some key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Deliver engaging training across Certificate II, III and VETDSS Electrical programs
Design, deliver and assess contemporary VET programs aligned to industry standards
Support students through their learning journey with feedback, mentoring and guidance
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve training delivery and outcomes
Stay current with industry practices, emerging technologies and renewable trends
Build strong relationships with industry and community stakeholders
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to innovation in learning, particularly as the sector evolves in areas such as renewable energy and new technologies.

About You:
You're passionate about your trade and ready to share your knowledge in a meaningful way.
You bring energy, curiosity and a genuine commitment to student success.
We're looking for people who have:
An A Grade Electrical Licence (essential)
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE) (essential)
Experience in renewable energy systems
Robust hands on experience across electrical fields (domestic, industrial or other)




A collaborative mindset and ability to engage diverse learners
A commitment to continuous learning and staying industry current
Confidence using a variety of teaching approaches
VIT registration or willingness to obtain Permission to Teach (PTT)
Previous teaching or mentoring experience

Salary Range:
Casual Teacher L1 | $***** (teaching) and $***** (non-teaching) per hour | AQF4 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L2 | $***** (teaching) and $***** (non-teaching) per hour | AQF5 teaching qualification
Casual Teacher L3 | $***** (teaching) and $***** (non-teaching) per hour | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Teacher L1.1 to L1.3 | $84,618 to $96,504 p.a. (pro rata) | AQF4 teaching qualification
Teacher L2.1 to L2.4 | $97,907 to $108,725 p.a. (pro rata) | AQF5 teaching qualification
Teacher L3.1 to L3.5 | $112,179 to $128,887 p.a. (pro rata) | AQF6+ teaching qualification
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.
