We are seeking an experiencedTrades Assistantto join our successful workshop team
About the role
As a Trades Assistant you will support our Blast & Paint workshop to ensure we deliver a quality product to our client, in full and on time.
This will include:
Providing support to the team as required to complete work activities
Using the Forklift and Overhead Cranes to transport and load/unload steel as required
Use of brush and rollers to apply coatings to steelwork
Providing assistance to Blasters & Painters in the workshop as required
General housekeeping and maintenance of the workshop
Monday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm - Saturday work available

About you
You will ideally have experience of working within the blast and paint or steel fabrication industry with the following:
Forklift ticket
Overhead crane experience
Positive, can-do attitude
Solutions focused, always working to execute the defined task with quality and precision in a timely manner
Ability to work effectively as a team
