About the role
Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking aHigh Reach Forklift Operatorto join our team on acasual basis for permanent afternoon Shift.This is a critical role with one of prestigious clients in their warehousing and distribution operations, based inRegency Park, SA ****.
As a High Reach Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating high reach forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials in warehouse environment.
Your work will directly support the smooth running of our distribution centre and contribute to meeting our clients' delivery timelines and expectations.
Key responsibilities
Operate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse
Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and safe to use
Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles with precision and care
Organise and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring materials are stored in designated locations
Follow all health and safety protocols and warehouse procedures to maintain a protected working environment
Communicate effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors to coordinate material movements
Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and maintain a clean, organised work area
Report any equipment faults or safety concerns promptly to management
Adhere to company policies and work instructions consistently
What we're looking for
Current and validHigh Reach Forklift license(or equivalent certification recognised in Australia)
Proven experience operating high reach forklifts in a warehouse or distribution centre workplace
Ability to do a 8 weeks of dayshift training ( 6am to 2.30pm) and continue on a permanent afternoon shift (2.30pm to *****pm).
Strong understanding of health and safety practices relevant to warehouse operations and forklift operation
Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail when manoeuvring equipment and stacking materials
Ability to work efficiently and maintain productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors
Physical fitness and capability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods
Reliability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to safety
Flexibility to work casual hours as required by business demands

weekday shifts from Monday to Friday( finishing of at 6pm on weekend)
