We're looking for Coldstore Assistants to join our team.
Whether you're seeking full-time hours (up to 38 hours per week) with the opportunity to move into a permanent position, or you're looking for flexible shifts around university or other commitments, we'd love to hear from you.
We employ all new Coldstore Assistants on a casual basis initially.
For candidates with full-time availability, there are opportunities to work up to 38 hours per week from the outset, with the potential to transition into permanent employment as you settle into the role.
We also welcome applications from people looking for a few shifts each week around study or other commitments.
You will work closely with our Coldstore and Warehouse teams to ensure products are stored, picked, and packed accurately, while maintaining a safe and organised workplace.
This role suits someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
One day you might be picking and packing orders for fine dining venues, the next, organising stock to keep local retailers supplied.

ABOUT THE ROLE & MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Coldstore Assistant, you will be part of a supportive team and gain hands-on experience with equipment and processes that keep the food industry moving.
You will develop skills in protected product storage, handling, picking and packing while working in a past-paced environment.
This role offers flexibility to suit a range of applicants.
If you're available full time, we can offer consistent hours of up to 38 hours per week.
If you're studying or have other commitments, we're also happy to work around your availability with flexible casual shifts.
As you develop in the role, there is the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.
ABOUT YOU:
You are someone who enjoys being part of a team, isn't afraid of physical work, and can adapt to a variety of tasks that come with a busy coldstore environment.
You will bring reliability, energy and a positive a positive attitude, along with the willingness to learn new skills ont he job.
SKILLS & EXXPERIENCE:
Strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a cold workplace
Physically fit and able to handle some heavy lifting
Willing to take on a variety of tasks and work under pressure
Positive communicator with a positive work ethic
Reliable with strong time management skills
Confident with basic numeracy and literacy




Safety-conscious and able to maintain a clean workspace
Warehouse or coldstore experience (advantage, not essential)
Own reliable transport (advantage, not essential)
It's an advantage (but not essential) if you also have:
Previous warehouse or coldstore experience
Forklift licence/experience
Your own reliable transport
