We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse (minimum 2 years' experience), Cert IV qualified and registered with the Veterinary Practice Board of WA, to join our team.
This is a rewarding and diverse role suited to an experienced nurse who is passionate about reproduction or looking for something a little different.

Who Are We?
Sires On Ice WA is a rapidly growing reproduction focused clinic, established December ****, located in Midvale.
In addition to general veterinary care, we offer reproduction services, breeding support and semen collection/storage.
We are a close-knit team of 4 vets and 7 nurses and are looking to expand our team.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring anaesthesia and assisting in surgery
Assisting with radiography and diagnostic procedures
Nursing hospitalised patients, including IV catheter placement, fluid therapy and blood collection
Conducting in-house laboratory testing
Patient admissions and discharges
Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments and reproduction services
Reception duties including phone triage and client support
Opening and closing the hospital as rostered

What We're Looking For
Applicants must:
Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Be registered with the Veterinary Practice Board of WA
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in veterinary nursing
Be competent and confident in surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
Demonstrate excellent client communication and customer service skills
Be reliable, proactive and accountable
Work well within a collaborative team environment
Flexibility is important, as this role will involve a variety of shifts across weekdays, weekends and occasional after hours.
We understand that there are some amazing nurses out there without reproductive knowledge and we are more than happy to provide training and support.
We are ideally seeking a nurse available to work approximately ***** hours but will seriously consider other availabilities.
This role has the potential to evolve into a permanent contract.
