Civil Safety is a fast-expanding Registered Training Organisation (RTO) working across QLD and WA.
We specialise in providing both training and safety advisory services to the mining, civil, oil and gas sectors.
We're looking for a proactive, hands-onYard & Facilities Handto support our trainers, maintain equipment, and help keep our site organised and running smoothly.

About the Role
As ourYard & Facilities Hand, you'll be responsible for ensuring our training facilities, workshop areas, machinery and equipment are maintained to the highest standard.
Working closely with our trainers and branch team, you'll help ensure practical training sessions run smoothly by preparing equipment, maintaining machinery, managing consumables, and keeping our facilities safe, clean and compliant.
This is a varied, active role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, working independently, and taking ownership of their workspace.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintaining clean, organised and skilled training facilities and workshop areas.
Preparing machinery, equipment and training areas for practical courses.
Conducting routine maintenance, servicing and safety inspections on equipment.
Recording maintenance, servicing and compliance documentation.
Monitoring consumables,



tools and equipment inventory.
Ensuring equipment is stored safely and securely.
Identifying and reporting maintenance issues and workplace hazards.
Following all WHS requirements, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.
Assisting trainers, students and staff with equipment and facility needs.
Liaising with contractors and service providers when required.
Supporting the overall presentation and smooth operation of the training centre.
About You
We're looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, workshop or yard operations.
Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence working with tools and equipment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
The ability to work collaboratively with trainers, staff and contractors.
A current driver's licence (essential).
Forklift licence or other relevant tickets (desirable).
