ROLE – DraftspersonSALARY - $80,000 - $95,000 per annum, dependent on experience

LOCATION – Adelaide, SA
My client designs and manufactures bespoke woodwork and metal equipment.
They are looking for a Draughtsperson to join their team in Adelaide on a permanent basis.
The Draftsperson will ideally have the following attributes:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar Draftsperson or CAD Design position
Qualification in Engineering Design, Drafting or similar
Highly skilled with 2D and 3D CAD software, ideally DraftSight, SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar
Experience producing manufacturing and fabrication drawings
Previous experience with joinery, woodwork, sheet metal, machined components and fabricated assemblies
Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T; and manufacturing processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances
Able to maintain technical documentation and BOM entry
Strong organisational and time management skills




Able to work well individually as well as part of a team
The Draftsperson role will involve:Creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings for manufacturing and production
Producing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings
Updating and revising existing drawings and models
Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure project requirements are met
Liaising with manufacturing and fabrication providers
Creating and maintaining technical documentation and drawing registers
Inputting parts into the MRP system and creating BOMs
Checking drawings for accuracy and sign off
Supporting projects from concept through to production
Working in a small, multi-disciplinary team on diverse projects
