We are in search of a newFULL-TIME Finance Managerto join our Head Office Team!

You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term financial integrity, including financial reporting, accounts oversight, payroll coordination, supporting HR processes & business systems.
As our Finance Manager, you will report directly to the SCJ Director while playing a central role in managing the company's financial operations and supporting broader business functions including HR, compliance, and administration.
This is a varied role - ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, working independently, and leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities.
Oversee a team of 5 bookkeepers / payroll staff
Oversee and audit Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and other statutory returns
Laise with external accountants to assist with Income tax & FBT lodgments
Manage daily and weekly reconciliations across bank, credit cards, payroll
Produce regular financial reports:



Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Annual Budgets & 3 – way Cash Flow forecasting when required
Maintain internal financial controls and manage business compliance
Oversee business insurances: Public Liability & Workers Comp
Assist the Director and wider team with business analysis, clerical support and ad-hoc operational duties
Contribute to the development, review and communication of company policies and procedures
About You.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or higher
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Company Accountant role
Strong understanding of the Australian tax compliance GST, BAS, payroll tax, FBT and income tax
Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of XERO
Experience in managing and mentoring a small team
