We are seeking a highly organised and proactiveFinance Officerto support our finance operations across treasury, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and contributing to continuous process improvement.
What you'll do
Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including processing supplier invoices, purchase orders, customer invoicing, payment collections, supplier payments, and remittances.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of queries, payment issues, discrepancies, and outstanding balances.
Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements, support treasury activities, and assist with the management of working capital facilities.
Prepare and reconcile supplier statements, manage receivables reporting, monitor outstanding accounts, and support timely collection of customer payments.
Support month-end close activities, including treasury reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and analysis.
Coordinate payment planning and authorisation processes to ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Prepare management reports, including unpaid invoice reports and accounts receivable status updates.
Identify and implement process improvements across finance, purchasing, and accounts payable processes, maintaining accurate process documentation.
Participate in weekly finance meetings and contribute to the ongoing effectiveness of the finance function.
What you'll bring
Certificate in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related discipline (desirable).
Experience with modern ERP and accounts payable systems;NetSuiteand/orStampliexperience is highly regarded.
Strong financial processing and data entry skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust time management and organisational abilities.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative.
Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Adaptable, versatile, and comfortable working in a changing environment.
