We specialise in large scale Hydraulic and Mechanical services and have continued to go from strength to strength since our inception.
Axis Plumbing has a long history of delivering services on prestigious Tier I projects to new and existing clients with offices all over Australia and internationally.
Full-Time or Part-Time (4 Days per Week)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedAccounts Payable Officerto join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a varied position that combines accounts payable with administrative support.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Team, your primary focus will be managing the accounts payable function while also providing administrative support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Match and process supplier invoices accurately.
Enter invoices into the accounting system.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare weekly payment reports.
Liaise with Head Office regarding accounts and supplier queries.
Administration
Maintain employee licences and compliance records.
Update and maintain employee training records.
Manage and maintain HammerTech documentation and system updates.
Prepare documentation for tender submissions, capability statements and project manuals.
Provide general administrative support as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar administrative role.
Robust attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Desirable (but not essential)
Experience using JEX or Workbench.
Experience using HammerTech.
Experience working within the construction industry.
