Collarcareis seeking a dedicated and detail-orientedCleaner/Laundry Assistantto join our aged care team.
This role is vital in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents.
You will be responsible for cleaning and laundry services in compliance with health, safety, and aged care standards.What do you need to have?
Police Check/NPC
: Must be on file, not more than 12 months old, and without convictions.
Statutory Declarations
: Required if a Police Certificate has been applied for but not yet held, or for staff who have lived overseas after age 16.
NDIS Clearance
: Valid and unexpired, within 7 days of placement.
Experience
: Minimum 3 months cleaning experience in aged care or hospitals within Australia.
Covid Vaccination Record
: Full course + 1 booster (generally 3 doses, except Janssen vaccine which requires 2).
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties in resident rooms, common areas, and facilities.
Manage laundry services including collection, washing, drying, and distribution.




Ensure infection control and hygiene standards are consistently met.
Support the wellbeing and dignity of residents through a clean and safe environment.
Work collaboratively with care staff and management to maintain compliance.
