Worldwide Timber Traders is a WA owned and operated timber business that has been supplying timber, panels, veneers, plywood, laminates and related products to the WA building and cabinetmaking industries since ****.
We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated team member to join ourVeneer Press Team.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good attention to detail, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Experience in timber, cabinetry, manufacturing, laminating or panel products would be highly regarded, however full training can be provided for the right person.
About the role
Working as part of our veneer press team, your duties may include:
Preparing veneer and panel products for pressing
Assisting with veneer layups and production work
Operating or assisting with press machinery
Handling timber, veneer and sheet materials




Checking product quality and job details
Measuring, lifting, stacking and moving materials safely
Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
Working with the team to meet production deadlines
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Comfortable with hands-on physical work
Careful and accurate with measurements and job details
Safety conscious
Able to work in a busy warehouse/manufacturing setting
Previous experience with timber, veneers, laminates, cabinetry, joinery or manufacturing would be an advantage
Forklift Ticket highly advantageous
