Dent Revolution is seeking an Automotive Paint Refinisher / Coordinator to join and support our growing team in our purpose-built paint facility in Norwood.
This is a unique hands-on role that combines advanced vehicle preparation, paint refinishing, job coordination, and post-repair quality inspections.
Working alongside and supporting our Head Spray Painter, you'll help keep our paint shop operating efficiently while continuing to develop your own technical skills.

About the Role
Working closely with the Workshop Manager, Head Spray Painter and repair team, you'll be responsible for:
Preparing vehicles and panels to a consistently high standard for refinishing
Sanding, masking, priming and completing final paint preparation
Carrying out post-repair quality controls
Coordinating the stages of repairs for jobs in the paint shop
Checking and prepping parts pre-repairs
Assisting with SMART repairs and select refinishing work
Providing basic paint-related repair advice to support admin staff quoting customers
Using iBodyshop or similar to support repair progress
Supporting continuous improvement across the paint shop
This is a varied role where no two days are the same.
Your primary focus will be supporting our Head Spray Painter by ensuring every vehicle is prepared and refinished to high standards and moves efficiently through the paint process.
You will undertake selected refinishing work and provide painting support during planned leave and peak workload periods.

About You
You'll be someone who:
Is trade qualified in Automotive Refinishing Technology
Has experience in automotive spray painting and vehicle refinishing
Takes pride in producing high-quality preparation and refinishing work
Is organised, proactive and enjoys coordinating workflow
Communicates confidently with customers and colleagues
Has experience with common automotive paint systems; Sikkens experience is desirable but not essential
Can confidently use computer systems or quickly learn recent technology
Works collaboratively within an established team
Holds a current driver's licence
Experience using iBodyshop desireable but not essential,
Undertaking SMART repairs and/or working within insurance repair environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
