Specialised Pavement Servicesis the largest provider of Road Sweeping / Suction Broom Equipment and Services in Australia.
We are presently seeking aSWEEPER OPERATORwithMR/HRtruck licenceforposition available in Sunshine Coast.
The work involves sweeping maintenance of specified road networks, commercial & infrastructure projects for Local and State Governments and the private sector.
Along with performing your role to the highest level of safety and quality, you will be responsible for routine and daily checks of your vehicle in harmony with all National Heavy Vehicle Laws and Company regulations.
Some mechanical knowledge of diesel engines and plant concepts advantageous.
Plant to be operated includes HINO trucks and Bucher Municpal/MacDonald Johnson range of road sweepers.
These are Left Hand Drive vehicles.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated,



reliable and versatile about working hours and from time to time will be required to work away from home
This role requires a clean bill of health and a good fitness level to alight from the vehicle many times a day.
There is a requirement for some manual labour operating leaf blower/rake /shovel etc.
You will be required to undergo a full medical check.
An Industry (Work Cover) White/Blue card for construction is required.
