About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and customer-focusedRetail Supervisorto join the team at the iconicTwelve Apostles Visitor Experience Centre.
Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the retail store, support and lead a high-performing team, and help deliver exceptional visitor experiences.
You will play a key role in driving sales performance, maintaining operational standards, and creating a welcoming and engaging environment for visitors from across Australia and around the world.
As part of the broader Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA) team, you may also have opportunities to support operations across other visitor-focused sites and attractions.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for tourism, premium retail, leadership and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
What You'll Do
Lead and motivate a customer-focused retail team to deliver exceptional service.
Coach, train and support team members to achieve retail standards and performance goals.
Assist with team rostering, onboarding and staff development.
Drive sales performance and contribute to achieving store KPIs and revenue targets.




Oversee day-to-day retail operations, including inventory management, stock control and visual merchandising.
Monitor store presentation standards to ensure an inviting retail workplace.
Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, financial reporting and administrative tasks.
Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally and effectively.
Assist with reporting on store performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety requirements and organisational policies.
Foster a positive, safe and inclusive workplace culture.
What We're Looking ForExperience in a supervisory or duty management role within retail, tourism, hospitality or a customer service environment.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate and develop others.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Experience managing customer complaints and resolving issues professionally.
Strong organisational skills, with experience in rostering, inventory management and store operations.
Effective computer skills, including Microsoft Office and retail systems.
A positive,



team-oriented and energetic approach to work.
Qualifications in Business, Hospitality or Tourism will be highly regarded.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to obtain or provide:

A Working with Children Check
Evidence of Australian work rights
A current Australian Driver Licence
