The Opportunity:
Due to Maitland City Council's commitment to ongoing asset management maturity, our team is experiencing significant growth with a number of new opportunities available!
Our Community Asset Management Planner will support the development and implementation of Council's Asset Lifecycle Plans for a diverse range of Council assets including buildings, parks, recreation facilities, and sports fields.
In this role you will use data driven insights to inform future Asset Management Plans and Capital Works Programs.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to review asset performance, undertake condition assessments, contribute to process improvements and help ensure Council's assets continue to meet the needs of our growing community.
This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of assets, influence long term infrastructure planning and contribute to the delivery of sustainable, high-quality community assets.
About you:
To be successful within this role, you will have a Degree in Asset Management, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent experience in a similar role.
You will have demonstrated experience in developing, analysing, assessing and implementing strategic asset solutions and plans.
In addition, you will also possess:
Knowledge and demonstrated experience in using asset management systems, predictive modelling applications, GIS and data querying to support asset management.
Knowledge of whole of life costing and cost/benefit analysis techniques.
Excellent time management, planning, financial, administrative skills and computer skills.
Strong communication skills.

This is a full-time, permanent role working a 35-hour week, with a base salary range of $110,152-$122,269 per year based on demonstrated competencies + allowances + 12% super.
