About the role
We are seeking an experienced and talented Civil Supervisor to join our thriving team at SHP Construction and Civil.
In this full time role with an immediate start possible, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing and coordinating construction activities at our sites in Townsville, Queensland.
As a highly skilled Supervisor, you will ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate construction activities, work crews and subcontractors on site
Ensure adherence to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
Monitor progress and quality of work, and identify and resolve any issues or delays
Develop and implement work plans and schedules to meet project deadlines
Provide leadership, mentoring and training to construction teams
Liaise with project managers, clients and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
Participate in the planning and execution of site logistics and resource allocation
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Supervisor or Foreperson in the construction industry
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools and equipment
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills




Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making and conflict resolution
Thorough understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
Experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work crews
