About the Role
Reporting to the Dealer Principal/Regional Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the dealership, leading all departments including:
New Vehicle Sales
Used Vehicle Sales
Finance & Insurance
Service
Parts
Administration
You will create a culture of accountability, teamwork and customer excellence while delivering strong commercial outcomes across every area of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing dealership team.
Drive profitability across all departments.
Deliver agreed sales, gross profit and market share objectives.
Manage departmental budgets, financial performance and key operating metrics.
Coach and mentor department managers to maximise performance.
Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and retention.
Develop and execute strategic business plans to support sustainable growth.
Monitor inventory, vehicle ageing and stock management.
Build strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and key stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all legislative, manufacturer and company requirements.




Foster a positive, collaborative and safety-focused workplace culture.
About You
You are an experienced dealership leader with a proven history of delivering outstanding commercial results.
You'll bring:
Previous experience as a General Manager, Dealer Principal, General Sales Manager or Senior Automotive Executive.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Demonstrated success leading large multi-disciplinary teams.
Exceptional leadership and coaching capability.
Proven ability to increase profitability while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Experience with dealership management systems and performance reporting.
A hands-on leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement.
Current driver's licence.
