We are seeking an organised and proactiveHSEQ & Quality Coordinatorto coordinate our Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems while supporting quality assurance across our production operations.
This is apart-time position (0.4 FTE – approximately two days per week)offering flexibility, autonomy and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.
About the Role
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will coordinate and continually improve our HSEQ systems while supporting quality assurance across the business.
Working closely with management, sales and production teams, you'll ensure our management systems remain effective, compliant and embedded throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Compliance
Coordinate and maintain the company's HSEQ Management Systems.
Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
Coordinate incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
Maintain HSEQ documentation, registers and compliance records.
Coordinate inductions, HSEQ training and SOP training.
Review and update Standard Operating Procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a positive safety culture.
Prepare HSEQ reports and management review information.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
Production Quality
Conduct ad hoc in-process and final quality inspections
Identify, investigate and report production quality issues.
Liaise with customers, sales and production teams to resolve quality concerns.
Monitor product quality trends and recommend process improvements.




Assist in maintaining the company's Quality Management System.
Environmental Management
Coordinate and maintain the ISO ***** Environmental Management System.
Manage environmental documentation and document control.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Facilitate the annual Environmental Management Review.
Monitor environmental objectives, compliance obligations and improvement initiatives.
Administration
Maintain quality, environmental and compliance documentation.
Review contractor compliance documentation.
Support certification audits and customer compliance requirements.
Build positive relationships with employees, customers, auditors and suppliers.
About You
You are organised, detail-oriented and enjoy improving systems and processes.
You are comfortable working independently while collaborating with people across the business and have a passion for quality, safety and continuous improvement.
You will ideally have:
Experience in HSEQ, Quality Assurance or Compliance
Experience with ISO Management Systems, particularly ISO ***** (ISO **** experience is desirable).
Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation.
Experience conducting audits, inspections and investigations.
Experience delivering workplace or SOP training.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High-level Microsoft Office skills.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
A proactive approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
