We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join the nursing team at Medplus.
We are looking for a practice nurse who can fit easily into our large friendly team.
You will be working with skilled clinical and administration colleagues and be supported by a dedicated medical centre leadership team.
Preferred key knowledge and skill areas:
Certified vaccinator CannulationWound care managementTriageSmear takerHave knowledge and previous experience in running nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma, and others.Demonstrate a willingness to undertake training for any areas requiring certification.
The role may involve a 6.15pm finish on a weekday and a rotation of Saturday weekend shifts *****am -1:00pm.

Do you have what we are looking for?
A current New Zealand practicing certificate is essential.Your practice aligns with the principles of The Treaty of Waitangi.Ability to work with GPs in acute situations.High standard of clinical performance and compassionate caring valuesAccuracy with documentation Tech savvy - computers and equipment do not phase you.Happy, friendly personalityReliability, initiative, and dependability Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
