About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Cook who is passionate about quality food, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and thrives as part of a supportive team.
This hands-on role offers flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings and weekends, depending on our event calendar.
You'll work across a variety of services, including school camps, weddings, corporate retreats, wellness retreats, private functions and special events.
Your Responsibilities
Preparing and presenting fresh, high-quality meals across a variety of menus
Assisting with menu planning and contributing creative ideas
Working collaboratively with the Chef and kitchen team
Ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation
Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation
Supporting kitchen operations during busy services and events
Helping deliver memorable dining experiences for every guest
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Cook or Qualified Chef
Loves cooking and enjoys creating a wide variety of dishes
Is organised, reliable and able to work efficiently under pressure
Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food
Enjoys working in a cooperative team environment
Has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
Holds (or is willing to obtain) relevant food safety certification
Is flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
