As a Trainee Batcher, you'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training, gain nationally recognised licences and develop the skills needed to operate a concrete batching plant safely and efficiently.
This permanent, full-time prospect is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving and being part of a team that delivers a quality product to customers every day.
Upon successful completion of your traineeship, you'll have the skills, confidence and autonomy to manage plant operations and explore further career opportunities across one of Australia's leading construction materials businesses.
This role will be located at Littlehampton.
What You'll Learn:
Technical Skills
Concrete mix designs and production processes
Batching plant operations and mobile equipment operation
Quality control and product testing procedures
Problem Solving
Identifying and resolving production issues
Monitoring and adjusting plant performance
Maintaining safety and operational efficiency
Teamwork & Communication
Working closely with drivers, allocators, customers and operations teams
Coordinating deliveries to meet customer requirements
Developing strong communication and planning skills
Training & Licences Provided
Forklift Licence
Front End Wheel Loader Licence
Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) Concrete Basics Course
Comprehensive on-the-job training and mentoring
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor batching plant equipment to produce concrete to specification




Coordinate truck movements to ensure safe and effective site operations
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance and housekeeping activities
Monitor inventory levels and assist with production planning
Work collaboratively with drivers, customers and operations teams to meet delivery schedules
Maintain a robust focus on safety, quality and environmental standards
