About the role
Europa Medical Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilledNurseto join our healthcare team on acasual basis.
This position is based inSalisbury Downs, SA ****and offers the flexibility of casual work whilst providing essential nursing care to our patients.
As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting our medical teams, and contributing to the overall success of our facility.
Your work will directly impact patient outcomes and help maintain the standards of excellence that Europa Medical Centre is known for.
Key responsibilities
Assessing patient health conditions and monitoring vital signs
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
Providing direct patient care including wound care, hygiene support and patient comfort measures
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
Communicating effectively with patients and their families to explain care plans and address concerns
Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient care
Preparing patients for procedures and assisting during medical examinations
Following infection control protocols and maintaining a safe, clean healthcare environment
Responding promptly to patient requests and reporting any changes in patient condition
Supporting the smooth operation of the medical centre through flexibility and professional conduct
What we're looking for
Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
Valid First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Proven experience in general medical and surgical nursing settings
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to a casual work schedule and varying patient care demands




Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Compassionate approach to patient care with a commitment to patient dignity and safety
Understanding of current health and safety regulations and best practice nursing standards
Proficiency in electronic health records and medical documentation systems
