Year 7–10 Science Teacher – Casual/Part-Time ABC College Cabramatta is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to teach students from Years 7 to 10.
For more than 20 years, ABC College has supported local students through structured lessons, quality learning materials and personalised academic guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Science to students from Years 7 to 10.
Cover key areas of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth and Space Science.
Explain scientific concepts clearly and accurately.
Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the NSW syllabus.
Develop students' scientific knowledge, problem-solving and examination skills.
Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
Essential Requirements
Solid knowledge of the NSW Years 7–10 Science syllabus.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Science,



Education or a related field.
Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
Reliability, professionalism and a genuine interest in student improvement.
A current Working with Children Check.
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is highly regarded.
University students completing a relevant Science or Education degree may also be considered.
