About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HR Truck Driver with a manual endorsement to handle local transport and delivery runs Tully to surrounding regions.
This role offers flexible, short shifts (approx. 6 hours per job/run), making it ideal for experienced local drivers looking for extra hours, flexible work-life balance, or supplementary driving work.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate and maneuver a Heavy Rigid (HR) manual truck .
Perform daily pre-start and post-start vehicle safety checks.
Assist with loading and securing freight safely prior to departure, ensuring all safety standards are met.
Complete required delivery paperwork, logbooks, and consignment documentation accurately.
Provide a courteous and professional service when interacting with suppliers.
Requirements & Qualifications
Licence:



Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Unrestricted / Manual Driver's License (Required).
Work Rights: Must be an Australian Resident.
Experience: Proven experience driving HR manual trucks with a clean, safe driving record.
Location: Based in or around Tully to Cairns, QLD
Physical Capability: Fit and comfortable handling light loading/unloading tasks as needed.
Reliability: Strong punctual work ethic and high safety awareness.
