About ICOVEThe Indigenous Centre of Vocational Excellence (ICOVE) is a First Nations-led national initiative established under the Australian Government's National Skills Agreement and aligned with Closing the Gap reforms.
Delivered in partnership between Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services (KAMS) and Tranby Aboriginal Co-operative, ICOVE is strengthening the vocational education and training (VET) system for First Nations people through stronger partnerships, innovation, capability building and policy leadership.
As ICOVE continues to grow, we're looking for an organised and proactive Project Officer to support nationally significant projects that will create lasting impact for First Nations communities across Australia.
About the RoleReporting to the Director, you'll play a key role in coordinating projects, supporting stakeholders and ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Working remotely from anywhere in Australia, you'll help keep projects on track while contributing to meaningful work that supports national reform.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate project activities, schedules and documentationPrepare project plans, reports and status updatesMonitor project timelines, budgets and milestonesSupport stakeholder engagement,
meetings and communicationsConduct research and assist with reporting activitiesMaintain project data and reporting dashboardsProvide administrative and procurement supportAssist with monitoring and evaluation activitiesHelp identify opportunities for continuous improvement
About YouWe're looking for someone who is highly organised, team-oriented and enjoys supporting projects that make a genuine difference.
You'll bring:Experience supporting projects, programs or operational deliveryStrong organisational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience coordinating multiple stakeholdersStrong reporting and administrative capabilitiesProficiency in Excel and other reporting tools (Tableau desirable)Ability to analyse information and prepare project documentationRelevant qualifications in Business, Management or a related discipline (desirable)A National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one) is required.
