The CSA Mine is located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales.
At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines and is Australia's highest-grade copper mine.
Harmony is the largest gold producer by volume in South Africa and is a significant operator of gold tailings retreatment facilities.
CSA Mine has recently joined Harmony Australasia, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.
The acquisition underpins Harmony's strategy to expand its Australasian footprint and establish a solid, diversified copper portfolio, complemented by the Eva Copper Mine Project in Queensland, currently under construction, and set to become the state's largest open‐pit copper mine upon commissioning.
In Papua New Guinea, Harmony owns and operates the Hidden Valley mine and owns 50% of the Tier 1 Wafi-Golpu copper-gold project.

We're seeking multiple experienced and safety-focusedService Crew Operatorsto join our underground mining team in Cobar.
As key members of the mining team, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of essential underground services – keeping operations running smoothly and safely.
Roster:
This is a residential only position working on a 7/7 (days / nights) rotational roster.
Responsibilities:
Installing and maintaining services such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation,



and power cabling
Assisting with underground infrastructure moves, including pump setups and ventilation systems
Conducting inspections and performing basic troubleshooting of service equipment
Supporting jumbo and development crews as needed
Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in all working areas
What we're looking for:
Proven experience in underground mining, preferably in a service crew role
Sound knowledge of underground mine services and equipment
Physically fit and capable of manual handling in a demanding underground environment
A team player with a commitment to safety and site procedures
Current driver's licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
