The role
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dedicated HASS Teacher to join our Senior School team in a full time 1.0 FTE ongoing capacity, commencing Term ******.
We welcome applicants with a strong background in Year 11 and 12 ATAR Politics and Law, Economics, or Business, as these areas are highly desirable.
This role is more than classroom teaching — it is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic school community that values academic excellence, student wellbeing, and co-curricular engagement.
You will inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students, designing engaging and inclusive learning experiences across Years 7–12.
With a strong understanding of curriculum and assessment, particularly in the senior secondary years, you will support diverse learners and contribute to the ongoing development of a progressive HASS programme.

Selection Criteria
Demonstrated ability, or capacity, to teachYear 11 and 12 ATAR Economics and/or Politics & Law(highly regarded).
Genuine enthusiasm for engaging students in HASS and fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
Proven ability to design inclusive and engaging learning experiences that cater to a range of student abilities and interests.
Confidence in using digital tools to enhance learning and bring curriculum content to life.
Strong understanding of the Years 7–12 curriculum, including supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Commitment to student wellbeing and willingness to contribute to the School's co-curricular programme.
Ability to establish a positive classroom environment through effective behaviour management and clear expectations.
Flexible, responsive teaching approach that places students at the centre of learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families.




About You
Hold a relevant teaching qualification.
Previous teaching experience in HASS, the ability to teach Year 11 and 12 ATAR Politics and Law, Economics or Business are highly desirable.
Proof of right to work in Australia.
Hold a current TRBWA qualification.
Current Working with Children Check.
