The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experiencedContracts Administratorto join a busy and supportive project delivery team.
Working closely with Project Managers, you will play a key role in the administration of construction contracts, tender documentation and project controls, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and in accordance with contractual and compliance requirements.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering exposure across the full project lifecycle from tender through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate tender and subcontractor administration
Read and interpret contracts, specifications and tender documentation
Manage RFQs, subcontractor correspondence and project documentation
Maintain project registers, document control and records management
Monitor client and subcontractor variations throughout project delivery
Support Project Managers with project administration and reporting
Prepare project documentation for handover and project completion
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure timely project outcomes
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Previous experience in a Contracts Administrator, Project Administrator or similar construction role
Sound understanding of construction contracts,
tendering processes and project documentation
Strong organisational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience using Microsoft Office and electronic document management systems
Ability to manage competing priorities while meeting project deadlines
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Experience working within the building and construction industry is essential
Experience working with Indigenous communities will be highly regarded
