Are you an experienced Dental Assistant who feels capable of more?
Perhaps you enjoy your current role, but you're ready for greater challenge, responsibility and professional growth.
Perhaps you're looking for work that feels more meaningful - where you can build genuine relationships with patients, continually develop your skills, and become an important part of a team committed to exceptional patient care.
If so, we'd love to hear from you.
About Us
Sparkle Dental is a modern, family-focused dental practice located in Perth, Western Australia.
We care for infants, children and adults from across Perth and regional Western Australia.
Many families travel significant distances to access care relating to oral function, feeding challenges, airway health, tongue tie management and early orthodontic care.
We work closely with a multidisciplinary network of speech pathologists, lactation consultants, myofunctional therapists, osteopaths and chiropractors to provide truly collaborative care.
Our team is passionate about helping patients breathe, sleep, feed, function and thrive.
We also believe great patient care starts with a team that feels supported, respected and inspired to keep learning.
Why This Role Is Different
Many of the patients and families we care for have spent months - and sometimes years -searching for answers.
Being part of their journey and witnessing improvements in feeding, breathing, sleep, oral function and quality of life is one of the most rewarding aspects of this role.
This isn't a position where you'll simply assist procedures.
You'll build trusted relationships with patients and families,
develop advanced clinical and communication skills, contribute ideas, and become an important member of a collaborative healthcare team.
Helping patients breathe, sleep, feed, function and thrive is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
This role will primarily involve working alongside Dr Shereen Lim while also supporting the wider clinical team.
You will have the opportunity to develop skills across a broad range of areas including:
Assisting with tongue tie and oral restriction release procedures
Taking digital intraoral scans using TRIOS technology
Clinical photography and comprehensive record collection
Supporting children and families through orthodontic treatment appointments and reviews
Providing patient education and treatment support
Pre-operative preparation and post-operative care
Helping patients and families understand treatment recommendations and care plans
Working alongside multiple clinicians across a variety of procedures and areas of patient care
Contributing to systems, innovation and continual improvement
Delivering an exceptional patient experience
Previous experience in airway-focused dentistry, tongue tie management or growth guidance is not essential.
We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant with the right attitude, professionalism and willingness to learn.
Training will be provided.
