The Production and Treatment Alliance (P&T; Alliance) is a collaborative partnership between SA Water and SUEZ, operating five water treatment plants, five wastewater treatment plants, and numerous pump stations across metropolitan Adelaide — delivering reliable, high-quality water services to the community.
About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Team Leader to lead the delivery of maintenance services across metropolitan water mechanical assets.
Reporting to the Water Maintenance Supervisor, you'll lead a team of Alliance and contract personnel, oversee an operational workshop, and drive continuous improvement in asset reliability and workforce performance.
• Lead maintenance activities to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant delivery
• Manage, mentor, and develop your team including apprentices
• Oversee workshop operations, budget, health and safety, and contract performance
• Collaborate with SA Water and Alliance Project Managers on capital works




• Manage on-call rosters and provide 2nd Level On Call support
About you
• Relevant Trade Certificate and Licence with industrial sector experience
• Proven leadership skills in an industrial operations workplace
• Experience with complex mechanical/electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley/Siemens preferred)
• Proficiency with Maximo and/or SAP
• Strong communication skills and a current driver's licence
